MANCHESTER — A Bow man was arrested and charged with reckless conduct early Friday after police investigating reports of gunshots on Lowell Street said they found him nearby with a .357 caliber handgun, police said.

Officers were called to the area of 61 Lowell St. about 1:20 a.m., where witnesses told them they had heard four to eight gunshots. Officers found multiple .357 caliber shell casings and one live round near Pine and Lowell streets, according to a news release.

Police noticed a man matching a description given by a witness standing next to a car on Lowell Street, and when they spoke with Joshua Gionet, 28, of Bow, he had a .357 caliber handgun, police said, and was arrested.
