Military News: Jackson Lyscars receives Army ROTC college scholarship

Jackson Lyscars of Hooksett has received the Army ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) college scholarship. 

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Jackson Lyscars of Hooksett, a 2017 graduate of Londonderry High School and sophomore at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, has received the Army ROTC (Reserve Officers Training Corps) college scholarship.

Lyscars received the award after maintaining a 3.6 grade point average his freshman year at UCCS with a major in criminal justice, a minor in sociology and a second minor in military science.

The scholarship provides full tuition, a stipend for books as well as a monthly stipend for expenses. Lyscars will receive a commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Army when he graduates.
