High School Football Roundup: Bedford rolls; Lindsay leads Pelham

Lucien Mumpini caught six passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Bedford’s 56-0 win over Manchester Memorial on Friday night at Chabot-McDonough Field in Manchester.

Thomas Morgan threw both TD passes as part of his 6-for-13 night for 109 yards.

Ryan Toscano ran for 57 yards and two TDs, and Harrison LeGoullon, Michael Akstin, Menderson Elie and Aaron Skaling also had scoring runs for Bedford.

Bedford is 4-0. Memorial is 0-4.

Exeter 10, Windham 6: In Exeter, Jason Edmiston’s 67-yard run lifted the Blue Hawks to 2-2. Edmiston ran 12 times for 113 yards. Sam Wolff had a 24-yard field goal in the first half for Exeter. Windham (2-2) scored a late TD on a Riley Desmarais 6-yard TD reception from Cody Potter.

Merrimack 14, Nashua South 0: In Nashua, Adam Thornton caught a 15-yard TD pass from James Dowling for Merrimack (3-1). South is 2-2.

Portsmouth/Oyster River 42, Spaulding 13: In Rochester, Portsmouth/OR quarterback Jacob Boutin scored four touchdowns and rushed for 143 yards in the ClipperCats’ first win of the season. He scored on runs of 11, 40, 13 and 15 yards. Jack Russo had a 13-yard run as part of his 15-carry, 87-yard night. Portsmouth/OR also got a 42-yard interception return for touchdown from Zach Crowell.

Spaulding’s Ryan Lane scored twice, on a 15-yard run and a 14-yard pass from Noah McCann. Jaric Levesque led the Red Raiders (0-4) with 103 yards rushing on 14 carries.

Despite the lopsided score, the ClipperCats (1-3) outgained the Raiders by only 324 yards to 305.

Winnacunnet 20, Dover 10: In Dover, the Warriors won their 17th straight game but had to overcome a 10-0 halftime deficit. Joe Larosa got Winnacunnet on the board in the second half with an 18-yard scoring strike to Tyler Hoar. Lou Granger scored on a 60-yard run and Jordan Fuller had a 2-yard TD run. Dover’s Ty Vitko had a 5-yard TD run run, and Sean O’Doherty kicked a 33-yard field goal.

Pelham 52, Merrimack Valley 0: In Penacook, Brett Lindsay scored four touchdowns and rushed for 143 yards in the Pythons’ win. Lindsay scored on runs of 61, 2 and 8 yards, and caught a 16-yard scoring strike from Ian Hoey. The Pelham quarterback was 3-for-4 passing for 71 yards, and added a 1-yard run of his own.

Matt Crowley scored from 2 yards out, Mason Fecteau had an 18-yard TD run, and Evan Haskins forced a fumble and returned it 31 yards for a touchdown for the Pythons (2-2).

Max Lacy and Merrick McNeil each rushed for 19 yards to lead Merrimack Valley (0-4).

St. Thomas 41, Milford 40: In Milford, Nick Tosatti’s interception with 2.7 seconds to play clinched a wild game for the Saints of Dover. Shawn DeKorne ran in three touchdowns and threw one to Will MacLean, who also had a TD run for St. Thomas (4-0). Milford is 2-2.

Campbell 47, Laconia 26: In Laconia, Keegan Mills scored three touchdowns as the Cougars improved to 4-0. Mills scored on runs of 60 and 30 yards, and on an 80-yard pass from Adam Breton. Cam Barrett scored on runs of 55 and 38 yards Carter Vedrani caught a 58-yard scoring pass and, Conor Sweeney returned the second half kickoff all the way for Campbell.

For Laconia (2-2), Garrett Whitney scored, and Cole Reid hauled in a 55-yard TD pass from Karter Greenwood.
