Nashua man faces assault charge in domestic incident

NASHUA — A city man was arrested early Sunday, charged with second-degree assault and domestic violence simple assault after police said he cut a man with a knife.
Jacob Murray, 23, of 10 Kinsley St., Apt. 7, was arrested about 2:10 a.m., police said.
Murray’s victim called police about 1:20 a.m. to report he’d been cut, police said. According to a news release, Murray punched a female and put her in a headlock, and when the man intervened, Murray cut him.
He was charged with the domestic violence charge, a Class A misdemeanor, in the incident with the woman police said. The incident with the knife led to the assault charge, a Class B felony, police said.
Murray was being held in the Valley Street jail in Manchester pending arraignment Monday in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.
