October 11. 2018 10:49PM
Keene at Nashua North (6:30 p.m.)
It looks like next weekend’s game between North and Merrimack will determine the West Conference champion. North, 42-13.
Merrimack at Concord (7 p.m.) (Postponed from Thursday)
The Tomahawks have limited their opponents to 42 points this season (21 in their five victories). Merrimack, 27-13.
Exeter at Dover (7 p.m.)
Winning out may not be enough for the Blue Hawks, who need help to extend their season. Exeter 28-7.
Pinkerton at Portsmouth (7 p.m.)
The Astros are still playing for the No. 1 overall seed in the South/East bracket. Pinkerton, 42-14.
Londonderry at Spaulding (7 p.m.)
If the Lancers don’t meet Winnacunnet in the first round of the playoffs, they’ll probably get another crack at Pinkerton. Londonderry, 35-7.
Salem at Winnacunnet (7 p.m.)
This game might be more physical than Sunday night’s Patriots-Chiefs matchup. Winnacunnet, 21-14.
Central at Memorial (1 p.m.)
The Little Green allowed 40 points in their first three games (all wins), and 100 points in their last three (all losses). Central, 34-14.
Nashua South at Goffstown (1:30 p.m.)
The Grizzlies stretch their winning streak to four games. Goffstown, 20-13.
Timberlane at Windham (1:30 p.m.)
Like Exeter, the Jaguars need to win out and get some help. Windham, 28-7.
Bishop Guertin at Bedford (5 p.m.)
The Bulldogs haven’t allowed a point since Week 3, and and haven’t surrendered more than seven points in a game this season. Bedford, 42-7.
Bow at Hanover (7 p.m.)
An unbeaten falls. Bow, 14-13.
Hollis/Brookline at Souhegan (7 p.m.)
Hard to envision the loser of this contest finishing in the top eight. Hollis/Brookline, 27-21.
Gilford/Belmont at Kennett (7 p.m.)
The Eagles put an end to their three-game losing streak. Kennett, 20-12.
Merrimack Valley at Kingswood (7 p.m.)
Both teams are looking for their first victory, so the winner’s postgame celebration will be raucous. Merrimack Valley, 14-12.
Milford at Sanborn (1:30 p.m.)
The Spartans are among a handful of teams trying to earn a home game for the Division II quarterfinals. Milford, 35-13.
Alvirne at John Stark (2 p.m.)
The Broncos can afford a loss. Not sure the Generals can. John Stark, 27-20
Pembroke at Plymouth (2 p.m.) The Bobcats played a winless team last week, are playing a winless team this week and might be facing a winless team next week. Plymouth, 42-6.
ConVal at Pelham (6 p.m.)
Figuring out the Division II playoff tiebreakers will require some advanced math skills. This much we know: The Pythons will need at least five wins to get in. Pelham, 34-6.
Manchester West at St. Thomas (7 p.m.)
It looks like another West-Central matchup on Thanksgiving, since Trinity decided against participating in the holiday game this year. St. Thomas, 36-13.
Laconia at Monadnock (6:30 p.m.)
The Huskies have Campbell next. Monadnock, 38-20.
Epping/Newm. at Somersworth (7 p.m.)
Here’s how uneven things are in Division III: The Hilltoppers scored 12 points in their four losses, and 93 in their two wins. Somersworth, 41-12.
I-L/M at Campbell (1 p.m.)
Expect both teams to be undefeated when Campbell faces Monadnock next weekend. Campbell, 36-8.
Trinity at Hillsboro-Deering/Hopk. (1 p.m.)
The Pioneers have the look of a No. 3 seed. Trinity, 29-14.
Kearsarge at Newport (1:30 p.m)
The Cougars break into the win column. Kearsarge, 26-14.
Stevens at Lebanon (6 p.m.)
Lebanon is lacking what you would call a signature victory, but may get it Saturday night. Lebanon, 26-20.
Franklin at Raymond (7 p.m.)
The Golden Tornadoes have been stingy on defense this season. Expect that to continue. Franklin, 29-6.
Fall Mountain at Bishop Brady (2 p.m.)
The guess here is that the Wildcats will have something to play for entering the regular season’s final weekend. Fall Mountain, 29-14.
Winnisquam at Mascoma (2 p.m.)
The Bears are still fighting for the No. 1 seed. Winnisquam, 38-12.
Newfound at Farmington/Nute (5 p.m.)
These Bears are still fighting for a home playoff game. Newfound, 36-8.
