It’s all about the spirit (boo!) of the holiday. Get in character, goblins, superheroes and princesses! It’s time to TRICK or TREAT! Don’t forget to say, “Thank you.” Be safe and enjoy, New Hampshire!

Thursday, October 17
Windham - 3-4 p.m., Trick or Treat. Griffin Park.
Thursday, October 24
Barrington - 3:30 -5:30 p.m., Trunk or Treat. Located in the Recreation Department Parking Lot. Trunk-or-Treat provides a safe and fun way for families to enjoy Halloween. Children enjoy trick-or-treating by going from trunk to trunk to receive pre-packaged candy from costumed car owners. There will be plenty of candy and spooky, fun, scary, decorated vehicles!
Hopkinton - 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m., Halloween Holler. Harold Martin School, 271 Main St, Hopkinton. Games, Prizes, Crafts, S'Mores over the Fire, Music, & more! Food for sale by the PTA too! Bring your camera for the photo-op area! Fun for the whole family! Parade lineup at 10:30 a.m.
Manchester - 2 p.m., 4th Annual Zombie Walk, downtown. Brady Sullivan Plaza, 1000 Elm St., Manchester. We'll stumble, growl, and groan our way through downtown, ending Milly's Tavern where prizes will be given out to the best zombies! This event is FREE and open to groups. WARNING! This event is family-friendly and all ages, but little ones could get easily get scared by fellow zombies!
Newmarket - 2:30 p.m., Goblin Parade. Our Goblins Costume Parade on Main Street is back to the beginning and will once again start at the Library and head down Main Street and then end down at Schanda Park where all the activities will be waiting. Join in our watch from the sidewalk as all of Newmarket Ghosts, Goblins, and Ghouls march and dance down Main Street to our favorite Halloween Music... All parade walkers should plan to arrive by 2:15pm to leave time to park, line up, and get your raffle ticket for participating in our parade! Family Fun Festive activities begin downtown on the waterfront at Schanda Park. There will be a variety of FREE fun, somewhat spooky activities, games, candy, and prizes and of course, Trick or Treating at many of the businesses located on Main Street! ( Look for the Halloween Haunt Logo at storefronts).
Waterville Valley - 4 p.m., Halloween Celebration, Town Square.The Halloween celebration features a costume contest, haunted house with the Rey Center, spooktacular snacks and walking trick-or-treating to the lodges and businesses. $5 per gremlin. Pre-registration recommended but not required.
•4 p.m. - Doors open/check-in at The Meeting Place in Town Square.
•4:30 p.m. - Costume contest and awards
•5 p.m. - Trick-or-treating. Ages 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Sunday, October 25
Deerfield - 1 p.m., Deerfield Fairgrounds. The costume parade and trick-or-treat is at 1 p.m. Parking begins at 12 p.m. All vehicles should be prepared to bring treats to hand out, and to follow the parking plan. A “best tailgate” trophy will be handed out. Hotdogs, drinks and chips will be available for purchase. For more information contact Deerfield Parks and Rec. at (603) 463-8811 ex. 305.
Plaistow - 4:30 p.m., Pumpkin Lighting at the Plaistow Arts and Recreation Center, 51 Old County Road. **New Location**
Friday, October 30
Boscawen - 5-8 p.m., Trick or Treat.
Dover - 5-8 p.m., Trick or Treat.
Concord - 5:30-7:30 p.m. - Halloween Howl, Main St. Look for the Concord Parks and Recreation staff dressed in their spookiest best. We’ll be selling glow sticks to benefit our scholarship fund, and will have macaroni necklaces for the little ones to make, as well as candy for all of the good little ghouls and goblins. Keep calm, and trick or treat on! This free community event offers a variety of activities for all ages, including trick-or-treating at downtown businesses.
Durham - 5-7:30 p.m., Trick or Treat.
Exeter - 3-6 p.m. - Halloween Parade - Swasey Park - This annual event has become a great family event for all. Children may "trick or treat" in the stores before or after parade. Divisions in ea. age/grade group Pre-school - Grade 8 with a separate division for Families & Pets. The three best costumes in each grade division will receive prizes! Led by the Exeter High School Blue Hawks Marching Band, the parade will start at the Water Street end of Swasey Parkway and finish at the center of the the parkway at the Pavilion where there will be light refreshments, awards, and Preschool-Grade 2 "egg haunt". Rain or shine.
Newmarket - 5-8 p.m., Town-wide Trick or Treat.
Hampton Falls - 5-7 p.m., Trick or Treat.
Kensington - 5-7 p.m., Trick or Treat.
Madbury - 5-7 p.m., Trick or Treat.
Milford - 3-4:30 p.m., Milford Oval Trick or Treat, downtown at the Milford Oval. Stop by and trick or treat with the Milford Recreation Department at the Milford Oval gazebo. The Recreation Department will have candy or a small toy to choose from (1 piece per child). Don’t forget to wear your costume. Costume Contest categories: Scariest, Funniest, Prettiest. Prizes to winners! Limited supplies. Free! All ages are welcome.

New Boston - "Triple Treat" - Trunk or Treat, Creepy Cafe and Trick or Treat. We are changing things up this Halloween. The New Boston Recreation will offer Trunk-or Treat in the Town Hall parking lot, opening up the Creepy Café (Town Hall Concession Shed) for hot dogs and drinks (for purchase) and will continue to have the Old Engine House (New Boston Recreation Office) open for Trick-or-Treating between 6-8 p.m. Scarecrow winners will be announced at the Old Engine House at 6 p.m. The Creepy Cafe will be open from 4:45 – 7:30 p.m. with a menu of hot dogs, chips and drinks. This is an optional stop and the prices are reasonable.
