Ashland Railroad Station Museum

69 Depot Street

Ashland, NH 03217

Ph: 603-968-3902

The Ashland Railroad Society Museum was opened in 1999.

Operated by the Ashland Historical Society, the museum was originally a passenger station for the Boston, Concord & Montreal Railroad. It was originally built circa 1869. For decades, it was the gateway to the Ashland and Squam Lakes Region for travelers.

The property was donated to the Historical Society in 1980. The building was restored and renovated in 1997-98 for use as a museum. It is currently one of the best preserved late 19th century railroad stations in New Hampshire, housing a collection of railroad artifacts, photographs and documents.
