This summer, explore Hampton's history at Tuck Museum, located on Historical Meeting House Green (founded in 1638), 40 Park Avenue in Hampton.

The museum features four buildings: The Tuck Museum, the Seacoast Fire Museum, the Farm Museum and a 19th Century District School House. The museum is free and open to the public on Sunday, Wednesday & Friday from 1-4 pm, June 1 to September 30 and from October 1 to May 30: Wednesday 9 am to 12 pm & Sunday 1 to 4 pm. Touring the museum is a great way to entertain children who are home from school, and those out-of-town guests as well.

The Tuck Museum building is the major building in the Tuck Museum complex. Life in early Hampton, the development of Hampton Beach, and Hampton schools are the subjects of some of the permanent exhibits. Changing displays illustrate other aspects of Hampton's history.

The museum also contains a small library with information on Hampton genealogy, NH town histories, town and school annual reports, photographs, and post cards. There is a small gift area where postcards, historical publications, and souvenirs may be purchased.
