LONDONDERRY — Residents of a Londonderry neighborhood were evacuated from their homes Sunday by police responding to reports of an armed, suicidal man on Winding Pond Road.
Londonderry police and members of the Southern New Hampshire Special Operations Unit responded to 64 Winding Pond Road to investigate reports of an armed suicidal man.
According to police, the man — whose identity was not released Sunday night — was taken into custody on charges of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and resisting arrest, after the man reportedly fired a gun in a reckless manner.
