HOOKSETT — Police said they arrested a Massachusetts man Tuesday for a parole violation stemming from indecent assault and battery on a child in his home state.

Glen Couture, 51, of Methuen was arrested without incident outside a residence on Atlas Avenue in Hooksett about 5 p.m., police said.

He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and was taken to Merrimack County Jail in Boscawen to await his extradition back to Massachusetts, officials said.

Couture had been the subject of a state of Massachusetts arrest warrant for violating his parole from an original charge of felony assault and battery on a child under 14, police said.
