Police officer revives overdose victim, arrests man at same location in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A Manchester police officer revived an overdose victim and then arrested a Manchester man at the same location on Monday, police said.

Officer Jason Irwin was on patrol just before noon Monday when a group in front of 293 Cyprus St. flagged him down seeking assistance for an unresponsive friend, Taleyah Bohan, 19, of Nashua.

Irwin determined the woman had overdosed and he began chest compressions on her while calling for medical units.

She regained consciousness for Irwin, and American Medical Response quickly transported the woman to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, Irwin talked with a man who was with Bohan and later identified him as Dylin Bohan, 21, of Manchester.

Irwin checked the name through the criminal database and determined Dylin Bohan was wanted on several outstanding warrants and was taken into custody without incident.

The warrants stemmed from a July 2017 domestic related incident involving a girlfriend of Bohan’s, police said. He also had two other bench warrants for operating without a license and driving without proof of insurance.

Dylin Bohan was scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit Court Manchester District Division on Tuesday for his arraignment.

Taleyah Bohan was not charged in the incident and Manchester police said they did not know the relationship between the two.
