MANCHESTER -- Just minutes after police broadcast his description, a local man was under arrest charged with robbing the downtown branch of TD Bank.
Manchester police said the robbery was reported about 12:30 p.m. Police reviewed bank surveillance video and broadcast a description of the robber.
Within three minutes of that broadcast, police stopped John Faucher, 39, a homeless man, and charged him with robbery, police said. He was walking in the Millyard at Bedford Street and Keegin Way.
Faucher has also been charged for an attempted armed robbery of the 7-11 at the corner of Bridge and Maple streets on Sept. 28.
