Police seek 18-year-old after shot fired into car near Manchester High School WestStaff Report

MANCHESTER — Warrants have been issued for a city man after police say he exited a vehicle while stopped at a traffic light near Manchester High School West and fired a round into the door of a car on Sunday.
Police said officers responded to the area of the CVS store at 432 S. Main St. at 10:46 a.m. to investigate a report of a gunshot.
Samuel Caraballo, 18, of Manchester, told police he was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at a light at the intersection of Conant and West streets, near the high school.
According to police, Caraballo said a passenger in another vehicle also stopped at the light, exited the car and fired a single gunshot at him.
Police say the round struck the door of the car Caraballo was riding in. He was not injured.
Police identified the suspect as Jacob Cahill, 18, of Manchester.
Warrants were issued for his arrest Sunday on charges of first-degree assault and reckless conduct. Police are looking for a red Acura Integra with New Hampshire registration 4084128 in connection with the shooting incident.

It was the second report of gunfire this weekend. About an hour before dawn on Saturday morning, police rushed to 138 Pearl St. for a reported shooting.
The victim was sitting on the front steps at the address, the Faucher Block Apartments, with a gunshot to his right upper thigh. He was taken to Elliot Hospital.
