Police seek Rochester man wanted on drug possession charges

ROCHESTER - Police are looking for a city man wanted on drug possession charges whom they said fled from an officer on Tuesday night.

Police said the man, Marcus Green, 49, of Rochester, fled from the officer in the area of 5 Lafayette St.

Police set up a perimeter and conducted a search with a K-9 unit, but Green was not found.

Police said there is no threat to the safety of the public at this time.

Green is wanted by the Strafford Superior Court for possession of controlled narcotic drugs.
