DOVER — A Rochester man has been indicted on three charges related to a Feb. 6 incident in which he allegedly fired a gun into the ground to scare his girlfriend during an argument.
Jarred Bartlett, 22, is charged with criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon and falsifying physical evidence.
Police said Bartlett argued with his 23-year-old girlfriend as he gave her a ride home Feb. 6. After she got out on Lakeview Drive in Dover, police said, Bartlett fired a handgun at the ground and drove away.
According to court documents, Bartlett was charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon because the alleged incident occurred in a residential neighborhood.
Bartlett is accused of falsifying physical evidence by allegedly selling the gun to impair the investigation, according to court documents.
