HOOKSETT - A Candia man was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after crashing into a brook early Sunday, police said.
Edward Miville, 20, was driving a 1996 Jeep Cherokee about 3 a.m. on Chester Turnpike when he lost control of the SUV, which struck a rock wall and rolled into the brook, police said in a release Sunday.
Officers responding to the call noticed signs of impairment while speaking with Miville at the scene and placed him under arrest, police said.
Miville, who refused to take a breath test at police headquarters, was released on $1,500 a personal recognizance bond and is scheduled for arraignment May 10 in 6th District Court.
