HOOKSETT — A Lancaster woman was charged with drug possession Wednesday after police said a man overdosed in her vehicle in the Park-and-Ride lot off Hackett Hill Road.

Police said Mallory Grondin, 19, was in the vehicle with the man when they responded at 6:19 p.m. to a concerned citizen’s call.

The man was taken to the hospital after authorities determined he was under the influence of drugs.

“Grondin gave consent to search the vehicle and a white powdery substance which was believed to be fentanyl, along with three suboxone strips, were located during the search,” police said in a news release.

Grondin was arrested on four counts of possession of drugs and taken to the Hooksett Police Department where she was booked and held on $2,000 cash or surety bail.

She was taken to the Merrimack County jail and is to be arraigned Thursday.
