JACOB SEACE

LEBANON — An 18-year-old city man who was arrested in Kilton Library in November, accused of having inappropriate contact with a 15-year-old girl, now faces 22 child pornography charges after police searched his cell phone, a release said.

Jacob Seace was arrested on the new charges last Friday.

According to police, a search of Seace’s phone, which was seized during his Nov. 7 arrest, contained information about a cloud-based account that contained numerous graphic images of child pornography, including children as young as 7.

Seace had been deemed a person of interest after police investigated a July tip from Microsoft regarding possible child pornography transmitted on its subsidiary, Skype, as well as a report that a 15-year-old girl was being contacted inappropriately via the internet, police said.

The 22 possession of child pornography charges, as well as one of distribution of child sex abuse images, are all Class A felonies, police said. The distribution charge alleges Seace sent a child sex abuse image from a computer at the Kilton Library via Skype.

Seace was being held in the Grafton County jail on $20,000 cash bail pending arraignment Tuesday in Grafton County Superior Court.
