MANCHESTER — A city man, who refused to leave a bar after getting kicked out, fought with the owner and a police officer who was attempting to take him into custody, police said Monday.

Batowa Yembey Kadjaka, 31, was arrested about 12:45 a.m. Sunday after a struggle with the owner of Whiskey’s at 20 Old Granite St. and two employees, whom together wrestled Kadjaka to the ground, police said in a release Monday.

Officer Alexander Martens, who was working an extra detail at the bar, attempted to arrest Kadjaka, but he resisted being taken into custody until Martens subdued him with a stun gun, police said.

Kadjaka was charged with resisting arrest/detention and disorderly conduct.
