MANCHESTER — A city woman was arrested on a drug possession charge Thursday morning after a police officer said he found her and a man sleeping in a car behind 330 Lowell St.
According to a news release, the officer saw Julie Paquet, 29, asleep in the passenger seat at 8:55 a.m., with a hypodermic needle, spoon and small bag of heroin in her hand. The officer rapped on the window, the news release said, waking Paquet and Michael Grenier, 30, of Manchester, who was in the driver’s seat.
A search of Paquet during her arrest found another small bag of heroin, police said.
Paquet was scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court on Friday. Grenier was not charged and was released at the scene, police said.
