Mass. man faces multiple ID theft charges

April 10. 2018 11:04PM

Maxherve Fleurme

LONDONDERRY — A Massachusetts man was arraigned in Derry District Court Tuesday on multiple counts of identity fraud, according to police.

Maxherve Fleurme, 39, of Randolph, Mass., is accused of ordering debit cards in the names of others and then using them to withdraw thousands from ATM machines, officials said.

Londonderry police said Fleurme started with stealing the information of victims. Officials said he would then order a new debit card and go to the victim's mailbox to steal them  once they were delivered.

He was charged with eight counts of identity theft and fraudulent use of a credit card.

The investigation continues, but police said Fleurme used this scheme to steal at least $4,800 in cash.
All victims were from Londonderry, police said.

Fleurme was arrested at Logan Airport in Boston last month just as he was about to board a plane for Haiti, officials said.

He was extradited to New Hampshire late last week.
