Police investigating Hampton Falls hit and run; Mass. man seriously injured

HAMPTON FALLS - State and local police are investigating a hit-and-run accident on Lafayette Road late Wednesday night that left a 31-year-old Haverhill, Mass., man seriously injured.

According to a release, a Seabrook officer was told by a passing motorist they had seen an unconscious man lying in the road. The officer found David Olds near 105 Lafayette Road in Hampton Falls suffering from a broken leg and head injuries and noticed debris from a car crash near him. Hamtpon Falls police were contacted, as well as State Police Troop A, about 11:20 p.m..

Olds was taken to Portsmouth Hospital for treatment, police said.

The crash remains under investigation by state Trooper Thomas Conlon. Police ask anyone with information to contact him at
