SOMERSWORTH — A GNC employee has accused of selling crack cocaine during business hours at a local vitamin shop.

Jenny Delgado, 26, of Somersworth, was arrested Tuesday after the Strafford County Drug Task Force and local police executed a search warrant at GNC on Tri-City Road.

Police said they discovered about three-quarters of an ounce of crack cocaine and $559.

Police say the search also turned up a scale and baggies.

A GNC typically sells vitamins, dietary supplements and other nutritional products.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges are expected, according to the drug task force.

The arrest is part of the “Granite Shield” operations, which in Strafford County has led to 42 arrests, seizure of 320 grams of fentanyl, 28 grams of carfentanyl, 43 grams of crack cocaine, 31 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of methamphetamines, 14 grams of marijuana, 3 suboxone strips, Butane Honey Oil, two firearms and $11,460.
