LITTLETON — A local man accused of shooting and killing Robert Pierog, with a rifle Friday night was ordered held without bail pending a probable-cause hearing next month.

Damion Yeargle, 21, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of first-degree murder.

An 18-year-old Jefferson man, Quade Kadle, has been charged with one count of being an accomplice to first-degree murder in the death of Pierog,, who authorities say was shot outside his residence on West Main Street.

Kadle also was ordered held without bail. He and Yeargle will appear at probable-cause hearings June 9.
