But, how do you motivate your customers to provide those glowing endorsements? And how do you amplify their effectiveness? Here are our top tips for capitalizing on word-of-mouth marketing:

Ask for Feedback

People aren’t always going to just offer up feedback without prompting, and a lot of times they simply forget. Sometimes you just need to ask, it’s as simple as that.
You can ask for an endorsement in person, with a follow-up email, or you can ask your social media followers. To make the process easy for your customers, be clear about what you are looking for.

Highlight Your Feedback

Use these reviews and endorsements on your website to back up your product/service descriptions. Two-thirds of customers surveyed indicated that they trust consumer opinions posted online. And when people see that other customers are leaving you feedback, it will motivate them to do the same.

Value Customer Relationships

Don’t forget about your customer after a job is over or a purchase is complete. Continue the relationship with them so they will think of you next time they need your service or product. By maintaining exemplary customer relationships, you are increasing the likelihood that those customers will talk about you with their family and friends.

Capitalize on Influencer Marketing

Influencer marketing is so huge because it’s the perfect marriage between traditional and word-of-mouth marketing. Influencers have devoted audiences that value their opinions. If you can form a working relationship with an influencer it could provide a huge boost to your business. Do a Great Job

This may seem obvious, but providing great service is the foundation of word-of-mouth marketing.
