SEABROOK — A town trash truck struck a BMW on Route 286 Monday afternoon, then hit two parked vehicles and damaged the Brown's Lobster Pound dining room and sign, police said.

The black BMW sedan was exiting the restaurant's parking lot when it was hit by the garbage truck at 2:47 p.m., according to a news release. No one was injured.

The BMW and two vehicles parked in front of Brown's had to be towed. The waste disposal truck was driven from the scene, police said.

The accident remains under investigation.

The latest damage comes a year after a kitchen fire at the 68-year-old restaurant closed its doors for the final few weeks of the 2017 summer season.

Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to contact officer Zach Bunszell at 603-474-5200.
