Man struck and killed by car in downtown Manchester identified

MANCHESTER — Police identified the man who died when struck by a car last Friday night while walking downtown.

Robert Albino Rosado, 40, of Manchester was hit about 11 p.m., Dec. 22, in the area of Chestnut and High streets. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

By late Friday, snow had been falling for several hours in Manchester.

The National Weather Service reported about a quarter of an inch for the date.

The Manchester Police Traffic Unit Collision Reconstruction and Analysis Team is investigating the accident. Anyone with information can contact Manchester police at 668-8711.
