MANCHESTER — A city woman who caused a head-on collision by driving the wrong way up an Interstate 93 exit ramp told troopers she was “following her GPS,” New Hampshire State Police said Thursday.

The crash happened about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at Exit 6, near Candia Road, police said.

Responding troopers determined Amy Krzyzaniak, 39, of Manchester, drove her 2008 Toyota Corolla the wrong way up the off-ramp. While attempting to make a U-turn on the highway, Krzyzaniak was struck by a 2017 Toyota Corolla driven by Kalli Daggett, 24, of Manchester.

Both women suffered minor injuries, according to police. Krzyzaniak was taken to Catholic Medical Center and Daggett was taken to Elliott Hospital, police said.

I-93 North was narrowed to a single lane for about an hour.
