Mass. man dies in I-93 accident in Sanbornton; car found in median

SANBORNTON — A 26-year-old Lowell, Mass. man died in a crash on Interstate 93 sometime Sunday night or Monday morning, state police said.

According to a release, troopers from Troop D were sent to an accident scene about 8:30 a.m. Monday in the highway’s center median at mile marker 59.8 found a 2010 Toyota Corolla that had hit a tree. The driver, Adam G. Boucher, had died in the crash, police said.

Boucher had been heading southbound when his car left the highway, hit a tree and came to rest in a spot difficult to see from the highway, police said. It is believed the crash happened sometime overnight.

Speed and alcohol have not been ruled out as factors in the crash as police continue to investigate, the release said.
