AG: Deaths in Grantham home were both suicides

GRANTHAM — The Attorney General’s Office and State Police Major Crimes Unit have closed a joint investigation into two deaths at a home in Grantham, saying each person involved had committed suicide.

Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and New Hampshire State Police Col. Christopher J. Wagner announced in a news release Tuesday they have concluded an investigation into the deaths of Michael and Michele Srbega.

The couple was found dead inside their home at 51 Bright Slope Way in Grantham late Sunday night.

The bodies were discovered after police responded to the home to perform a welfare check on two residents.

According to the news release, the criminal investigation was closed Tuesday after both autopsies were completed.

The exact cause of death for the Srbegas was not released.

No further information was available Tuesday.
