JOHN WALSH

DERRY — Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a Pleasant Valley Nursing Center resident who walked away before getting treatment at Parkland Medical Center Tuesday afternoon.

As of 8 p.m. Wednesday police reported thorough searches of the area produced no sign of the man, and they hope the public can help locate him before temperatures drop later this week.

According to police, John Walsh, 63, left Parkland just after 1 p.m. and last was seen walking south on Birch Street towards Windham.

He was wearing a brown leather jacket, gray T-shirt and blue jeans, police said. He is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 140 pounds.

Police ask anyone who might have seen Walsh to contact them at 432-6111.
