NASHUA — A large police response was dispatched to the Pheasant Lane Mall Sunday after shoppers mistook the sound of a table being flipped during a Food Court fight for a gunshot.

According to Lt. Carlos Camacho, at 1:56 p.m. officers received multiple calls reporting a gunshot at the mall at 310 Daniel Webster Highway. Police determined the noise came from a table flipped over during a fight in the mall’s Food Court area.

“We’re not sure what it was about or who was involved,” said Camacho. “It was over when we got there, and the parties had left.”

No arrests were made.

Nashua police ask anyone with information concerning this or any investigation to contact them at 594-3500 or the Nashua Police Tip Line at 589-1665.
