NHIAA Div. I Field Hockey: Winnacunnet, Pinkerton march to final

Goals by sophomore Abby Merrill and senior Megan Chase paved Winnacunnet's way to the Division I field hockey final with a 2-1 win over Timberlane in Wednesday night's semifinals at Bill Ball Stadium. The Warriors will face Pinkerton in Sunday's final. The Astros beat Keene, 4-0, in Wednesday's other semifinal.

Andrew Dubreuil collected a rebound that banged off the post and scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute to lead fourth-ranked Derryfield School of Manchester to a 1-0 win against 13th-ranked Gorham in a Division IV boys' soccer preliminary round contest in the Queen City.
