GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - Updated, 10:21 p.m. The Manchester Monarchs dropped to second place in the Atlantic Division for the first time since Oct. 18 as they fell 3-1 to the Adirondack Phantoms at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Friday night.

The Monarchs travel to Adirondack and Bridgeport this weekeend.

PORTLAND, Maine - Updated, 5:56 p.m. Right wing Mark Mancari picked up five assists as the Manchester Monarchs fell to the Portland Pirates, 6-1, at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Jonathan Bernier recorded his second consecutive shutout and the Manchester Monarchs defeated the Hartford Wolf Pack, 2-0, in American Hockey League action in Connecticut last night.

Updated, 10:16 p.m. Jonathan Bernier made 34 saves to earn his fifth shutout of the season as the Manchester Monarchs to a 2-0 win at Providence on Friday night.

Seven away games may provide some clues into Manchester's mettle.
