BOSTON - Updated, 10:45 p.m. What looked like a blowout at the beginning of the third frame quickly became a nail-biter, as Boston University registered two third-period goals, but Boston College managed to hold on for its second Beanpot title in three years, defeating the defending national champions 4-3.

GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - Updated, 10:21 p.m. The Manchester Monarchs dropped to second place in the Atlantic Division for the first time since Oct. 18 as they fell 3-1 to the Adirondack Phantoms at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Friday night.
The Monarchs travel to Adirondack and Bridgeport this weekeend.

Updated, 10:16 p.m. Jonathan Bernier made 34 saves to earn his fifth shutout of the season as the Manchester Monarchs to a 2-0 win at Providence on Friday night.
