The third nor’easter to hit New Hampshire this month is expected to drop between 8 and 15 inches of snow across the state before wrapping up on Wednesday.
Snow is expected to begin falling in southern New Hampshire this morning, with the heaviest snow expected to arrive this afternoon into tonight.
Lighter snow will remain in the area tonight into Wednesday. Most of the state is forecast to pick up between 8 and 15 inches of snow, with some spots receiving up to 16 inches.
Forecasters say the winds associated with today’s storm won’t be as strong as those that battered coastal communities during the previous two nor’easters, but could cause a few scattered power outages. Wind gusts between 20 and 30 mph are expected inland, with some 40 mph gusts likely along the coast.
