Donald and Louiselle (Cote) Daigle of Bedford celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 31, 2014. Festivities included celebrations on Oct. 11 at Escapades Memphrémagog in Magog, Quebec, and a surprise party on Nov. 1 at Demeters Steakhouse in Portsmouth. The couple was surrounded by their closest friends and family at both events.
Donald and Louiselle were married on Oct. 31,1964, at Coeur Immaculee de Marie Church in Sherbrooke, Quebec. They moved from Canada and settled in Goffstown to raise their family until moving to Bedford in 2006.
They have two daughters, Christine Williams, who lives in Bedford with her partner, Ken Ames, and Frances Van Geyte, who resides in Chester with Gary Van Geyte and their daughter, Julianna.
They enjoy spending their free time with their family and traveling to their home at Lac Magog in Canada. Donald remains an avid racquetball player. The family wishes Donald and Louiselle years of health and happiness as they continue their retirement.
