Mr. and Mrs. Aime M. Labrie of Manchester recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Labrie and the former Doris T. Hebert were married on May 22, 1948 at St. George Catholic Church in Manchester.
The couple have three children: Jeannine Paquin and her husband, Bob, live in Melbourne, Fla., Phyllis Morneau and her husband, Rich, live in White House, Tenn., and Sharon Labrie lives in Manchester. They also have seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
To celebrate their anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Labrie renewed their vows at Ste. Marie Parish in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Moe Larochelle, followed by a dinner reception at Fratello's restaurant. Among the guests were family members and friends from Melbourne, Fla., and Hinsdale, Auburn, Bedford and Manchester, N.H. Best wishes were received from Tennessee.
Mr. Labrie was office manager-comptroller at New England Beauty Supply Inc., from where he retired after 38 years. Mrs. Labrie retired from New England Beauty Supply's accounting department.
In their retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Labrie also have volunteered at the Manchester soup kitchen, Catholic Medical Center and the Hillsborough County Nursing Home.
