HERNDON, Va. - Tara Elizabeth Taylor and Christopher Thomas Hartman have announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tami and Kurt Minich of Newport, N.H.
Miss Taylor graduated from Sunapee High School in 1999, then attended Bentley University, earning a bachelor's degree in business management and a master's degree in human factors in information design. Miss Taylor owns her own online nutrition and personal training business, TayloredFit.com.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Marlene and Jerry Hoelker of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Paul Hartman of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Mr. Hartman graduated from the University of Northern Iowa and earned degrees in chemistry and biology. He then attended Nebraska Wesleyan University, earning a master's degree in forensic science. He is a cellulosic laboratory manager with POET Biorefining in Iowa.
The couple will live in Okoboji, Iowa, and plan a spring 2017 wedding.
