Mix & serve drinks to patrons, directly or through waitstaff. Collect money for drinks served. Check ID of customers to verify age for purchase of alcohol. Stock bar w/beer, wine, liquor, & related supplies such as ice, glassware, napkins, or straws. Serve snacks or food items to customers seated in the bar. Complete all orders & transactions using POS System; & clear & reset tables. Check w/guest to ensure guest satisfaction & take action to correct any problem. Must be 18 years of age. All staff must work weekends. Employer will offer a min. of 35hrs per wk. Open 7-days (holidays included). Shifts: 10am-6pm; 3pm-11pm. Shift schedule start & end times & days off vary depending on work demand. OT as needed only. On the Job Training: Yes. Offered wage is $9.69 per hr & OT at $14.54 per hr. This is a tipped position & therefore workers will receive a base wage of $4.57 per hr w/the employer taking a tip credit of $5.12 per hr. Hrly salary for the position will be no less than $9.69 per hr (combined cash wage & tips). No employees will make less than "Offered Wage." If there's a shortfall in tip earnings during the week, the employer will pay the difference. Employees will keep all tips except for contribution to a tip-pool for other qualifying tipped employees. Paid wkly. Will use single workweek as standard for computing wages due. Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck reqd by law & optional assisted employee housing. Optional local apartment housing w/shared rooms w/rental fee may be available. Cost of housing is $80 wkly, paid thru payroll deduction. Transportation & subsistence to the place of employment: If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will arrange & pay directly for transportation & subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment w/another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker's voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily meals will be provided at a rate of $12.26 per day during travel to a max. of $51 per day w/receipts.
