Fidelity Investments solar array

Brian Daigle, vice president of energy engineering at Fidelity Investments, speaks during a ceremony at its new solar array field in Merrimack in 2019. The company says it plans to hire 475 people in New Hampshire this year.

Fidelity Investments, one of the state’s largest employers, plans to hire 475 more workers at its Merrimack campus. This comes after the financial services firm hired about 950 workers there last year.

The growth is part of a nationwide push to hire 4,000 licensed representatives, technology workers and customer service representatives, according to the company, which employs more than 5,800 people in New Hampshire.
