New Hampshire’s preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for July 2019 was 2.5 percent, unchanged from June.

The July 2018 seasonally adjusted rate was 2.5 percent, New Hampshire Employment Security reported Tuesday.

Seasonally adjusted estimates for July 2019 placed the number of employed residents at 751,150, an increase of 650 from the previous month and an increase of 7,960 from July 2018.

The number of unemployed residents increased by 150 over-the-month to 19,090. This was 40 fewer unemployed than in July 2018.

From June to July 2019, the total labor force increased by 800 to 770,240, an increase of 7,920 from July 2018.
