HOOKSETT -- An Allenstown man was arrested Sept. 3 after police said he caused two crashes as he drove drunk.
Hooksett police got a call around 10:30 a.m., saying a driver, later identified as Jacob Partington, 31, of Allenstown, crashed on Route 3A near Gosselin Avenue and drove away.
A short while later, police said, Partington crashed again, just over three miles north on 3A, near the intersection with Main Street. Hooksett police stopped Partington on Merrimack Street.
After field sobriety tests, Partington was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, and two counts of conduct after an accident.
At the Hooksett Police Department, Partington agreed to a breath alcohol test. Police said the test indicated a 0.10 percent blood alcohol content. Partington was released on personal recognizance, and is set to be arraigned Sept. 17 Sixth Circuit Court in Hooksett.
