MANCHESTER — Police say an ongoing dispute between neighbors over a barking dog led to a stabbing Monday night in the area of Wilson and Hanover streets.
“All parties are known to each other and a suspect has been identified,” police said in a news release.
Police were still interviewing witnesses at the scene an hour after receiving a call at 7:50 p.m. that a man had been stabbed. Police cruisers blocked Hanover Street in both directions and yellow crime-scene tape was placed around a multi-family home at 427 Hanover St.
The man suffered what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
Police have not yet named the stabbing victim or the suspect.
“There is no threat to the public at this time,” the news release said.
The stabbing remains under investigation.
