MANCHESTER — One of Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s campaign offices was broken into Wednesday night, the campaign said.
Andrew Taverrite, Warren’s communications director in New Hampshire, said other offices in the same building were also broken into.
“Upon discovering the break-in this morning, campaign staff took immediate action and filed a report with the police,” Taverrite wrote in an email.
“We have no reason to believe this was targeted to the campaign or is anything further than a regular break in, and we are working with authorities.”
Police are investigating the break-in, said Manchester Police Department spokeswoman Heather Hamel.
Warren was in New Hampshire Thursday speaking at Dartmouth College and Newport.
