CONCORD — A city man has been charged with sexual misconduct of young children.
Brandon Aubin, 36, was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with two counts of soliciting sex from a minor and eight counts of transmitting a lewd image to a child under 16. All counts are Class B felonies.
The investigation began on July 4, 2019, when local detectives were alerted by New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children that there was imminent danger to juveniles, according to city police.
“The tip contained information that an adult male was exchanging nude images with young juveniles and also requesting that the juveniles take part in sexual acts,” they said in a statement Friday morning. “Concord police detectives quickly made contact with the victims, who are known to Mr. Aubin, and removed them from danger and ensured that they were in a safe place while the investigation continued.”
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security assisted with the investigation, police said. Anyone with information can call Detective Lt. Sean Ford at 225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crime Line at 226-3100.
