CONCORD — Police have arrested two men in connection with a threat made against Concord High School involving a possible shooting.
Kyle T. Slogic, 21, of Concord, and Brandon T. Foster, 18, of Pittsfield, were arrested Thursday and charged with conspiracy to commit criminal threatening, misuse of computer or network and false public alarm.
Last Sunday, Concord police became aware of a threat posted on a Facebook account.
“The investigation revealed that a relative of the account holder gained access to the account holder’s Facebook account and posted a message that was easily interpreted as threatening to school safety,” a news release reads.
While determining no credible threat existed, additional Concord officers were on school grounds Monday as a precautionary measure.
“Revenge between the suspect and the unwitting account holder appears to be the motive for this incident,” the release reads.
Slogic and Foster were set to be arraigned Friday at the Merrimack County Superior Court.
Concord Police are asking anyone with direct information regarding the matter are asked to contact Lt. Sean Ford at 225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline 226-3100.
