Sagamore Street death

Manchester police investigate a shooting incident on Sagamore Street early Thursday that left one person dead and another suffering a stab wound.

MANCHESTER — A 37-year-old local man was identified as the victim of a homicide in a shooting that took place last Thursday morning on Sagamore Street.

Kevin Denbow died from a gunshot wound to the chest, according to state and local law enforcement officials.

Chief Medical Examiner Jennie V. Duval conducted an autopsy Friday that concluded the death was a homicide.

Local police continue to investigate the fatality which first brought officers to 219 Sagamore St. at about 3 a.m. on Thursday.

Officers found Denbow shot and a second unidentified man suffering from a stab wound.

Denbow later Thursday died of his injuries, police said.
