FARMINGTON — State police arrested a Maine driver who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he led troopers on a chase just before 8 a.m. on Friday.
Marc Horowitz, 48, of Sanford, Maine, reportedly stopped in the middle of the Spaulding Turnpike, struck a guardrail and almost collided with another vehicle in Milton.
Police pursued Horowitz from Milton to Farmington, where he was taken into custody at the intersection of Routes 75 and 153, according to a news release.
Horowitz is charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless operation and disobeying a police officer. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 7th Circuit Court, District Division, Rochester on Dec. 11.
