Joshua Peckham, 32, has been charged with first-degree assault after police said he stabbed another man Friday afternoon. 

MANCHESTER — Police say a man was stabbed in the leg on Friday as he fought with another man in his apartment. 

Around 3 p.m. Friday, police said two men were fighting in a second-floor apartment at 1235 Elm St. Police said one of the men, who they identified as Joshua Peckham, 32, of Manchester, stabbed the other man in the leg during the fight. The victim was taken to a local hospital with an injury that was not life-threatening. 

Peckham was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. Police also learned that there were two warrants for Peckham's arrest, one for a charge of aggravated assault, and the other for second-degree assault.
