A Manchester man has been charged with putting his baby daughter in a clothes dryer and turning it on, police said.
Police said they arrested Michael Higgins, 34, on a charge of reckless conduct, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal threatening.
Police said the incident took place Sept. 8 and involved his infant daughter. The mother quickly intervened and the child did not appear to be harmed, police said.
Police said the mom disclosed the incident on Sunday, when police answered a call at 444 Kimball St. about a domestic incident. Police said the incident amounted to arguing and did not appear to get physical.
